About

I'm Simon, but everyone calls me Cav. I'm a videographer based in Brussels, and what I love above all is capturing the moment: a look, a burst of laughter, a gesture no one would repeat twice.

I've been filming for five years. For three of them it was a passion I fed in the evenings and at weekends. For the past two years it has been my job, and the passion hasn't gone anywhere. I even think that's what makes the difference: I don't film to tick off a brief, I film because I enjoy seeing people happy to be there.

My playground is cultural and sports events: concerts, festivals, competitions, moments where the energy is tangible and something real is happening. My work is to catch that energy and give it back to those who lived it, and to those who weren't there.

I like to handle every project from A to Z. It all starts with a meeting: I take the time to understand who you are, what you want to tell and what really matters to you. Then comes the shoot, where I blend into the atmosphere so people stay natural. And finally the edit, where the story takes shape, with a rhythm and a sensitivity that respect what was lived on site.

One contact from start to finish, real listening, and images with a soul.

Are you organising an event, do you have a story to tell? Write to me, let's talk.
